About GATEWAY TO HOPE: OVERCOMING HEROIN

The purpose of the  Gateway to Hope: Overcoming Heroin documentary will be to educate viewers on the use of heroin in the East Liverpool, Ohio area as well as other parts of the country and how it has affected the individuals, their families, and the communities. The underlying theme of the film is that there is hope to break the addiction through Christian centered rehabilitation. The documentary will tell the stories of recovered addicts and their journeys through addiction and viewers will hear the proposed solutions from East Liverpool city officials. The film features interviews with the individuals, their families, hospital employees, police officers, and public officials affected by the epidemic. Gateway to Hope: Overcoming Heroin highlights the journey of Josh Lytle (Vice President of Family Care Services) through addiction and his experience helping others to restore their lives.
